Tava'ilau T. Segi
Founder & Lead Environmental Research Scientist
Tava'ilau holds a Ph.D. in Conservation Biology from Brigham Young University - Provo and a B.S. in Marine Biology from Brigham Young University - Hawai'i. He brings over a decade of experience in ecological research, environmental assessment, and conservation policy. With technical skills in GIS, remote sensing, and data analytics. Tava'ilau specializes in coastal monitoring, ecosystem-based management, and implementation of traditional ecological knowledge in conservation efforts. As a certified FAA Remote Pilot and Advanced SCUBA diver, his field-based expertise is informed by a deep respect for cultural knowledge systems and local stewardship.
Teneia H. Segi
Founder & Principal Consultant
Teneia holds a Master of Public Administration from Brigham Young University - Provo and a B.A in Political Science from Brigham Young University - Hawai'i, with emphases in international development, legal studies, and criminal justice. With a strong background in partnership management, compliance, and public engagement, she leads strategic coordination and client relations at Oceanic Pacific Services LLC. Her professional experience spans corporate partnerships with the Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth, legal assistance, compliance advising, and cross sector outreach. Teneia ensures our work is accessible, community-centered, and aligned with client needs across public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
